The Yas SeaWorld Research & Rescue Center Yas Island Abu Dhabi operates 24/7. We’re ready to help any sick or injured marine animal - whenever and wherever.

The ultimate goal of our marine life conservation effort is to get every animal rehabilitated, with the best chance of returning it to its natural environment.

The center is constantly building local partnerships essential to operating an effective rescue network. We have rescue boats and specialized equipment to mobilize quickly and get to rescue sites fast, and the state-of-the-art equipment to care for all the animals in our center, including one of only a handful of animal CT machines in zoological facilities in the world as well as dedicated rehabilitation facilities, featuring UV lighting that mimics natural sunlight.
