Rescue Night

The Yas SeaWorld® Research & Rescue Center, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi (THE “YSWRR”) is private property that is operated by Miral Experiences LLC (‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’). You must have received a written invitation/appointment from THE YSWRR or be part be a group who is attending a private program in order to enter THE YSWRR. The terms and conditions of entry into THE YSWRR are below:

• Your confirmation of entry (be it a written invitation/appointment or program confirmation) must be presented upon arrival at THE YSWRR and shown for inspection upon demand;
• By entering THE YSWRR, you consent to your belongings being subject to searches, screenings and/or security checks;
• You must at all times follow all notified instruction, directions, rules and instructions in THE YSWRR. All rules and instructions are in place to help you. If you do not follow our rules and instructions, it is more likely you, or someone around you will suffer an injury;
• You must at all times adhere to UAE laws, morals and/or cultural values during your visit;
• We reserve the right, without prior notice and without liability or compensation, to change the operating hours of THE YSWRR, close any area of THE YSWRR, restrict the number of persons having access to THE YSWRR, and/or suspend or cancel any program at THE YSWRR if we consider that the circumstances require;
• You may not be able to gain access to certain areas of THE YSWRR during special events or private bookings;
• Running, unruly behaviour, abusive behaviour, intoxication, fighting and other similar behaviours are not permitted;
• Access to any part of THE YSWRR is conditional on compliance with the relevant health and safety rules as explained in the safety briefing. This includes but is not limited to; proper dissection technique, glass handling, microscope use, working with live animals and specimen handling;
• Certain programs may be unavailable during your visit for health and safety, maintenance or other reasons, without prior notice;
• Entries to THE YSWRR are personal, non-transferable and may not be exchanged for commercial gain. Entries are automatically void if transferred or altered;
• Animal welfare is our key responsibility, accordingly it is strictly prohibited for any person to:
  • enter or attempt to enter into any animal habitat, water body or medical/research area without the consent of an authorised representative of THE YSWRR;
  • handle, feed or attempt to feed any animals or specimens without the consent of an authorised representative of THE YSWRR;
  • throw, place, or otherwise introduce any object into an animal habitat without the consent of an authorised representative of THE YSWRR;
  • distract or attempt to distract any THE YSWRR colleagues working in any animal habitat, water body or medical/research areas;
  • harass or distress (or attempt to harass or distress) any animals (i.e. tapping on the habitat glass); and/or
  • intentionally mistreat (or attempt to intentionally mistreat) any animals.
• If you fail to comply with this rule, it may result in you, your entire group and/or any offending personnel being removed from THE YSWRR, denied re-entry and/or banned from admission to THE YSWRR (temporarily or permanently) without liability;
• THE YSWRR may permit you and your group to use its equipment from time to time. You will be responsible for the costs of any unreturned equipment or the costs to rectify any damage to equipment/replacement of equipment caused by the actions of your group;
• Areas within THE YSWRR are monitored by CCTV to assist in the proper running of THE YSWRR and the safety and security of its visitors. In addition, we, or third parties authorised by us, may film, sound record or photograph areas in THE YSWRR. Entry into THE YSWRR affirms your consent to the filming, sound recording and/or photography and possible subsequent use/exploitation/ broadcasts/ publication. You may object to the use of your personal data in connection with any filming, sound recording and/or photography by contacting us as detailed in our Privacy Policy available on THE YSWRR website;
• You are not permitted to take photographs, video or sound recordings except for your own private use (non-commercial use). You may not bring cameras, phones for commercial filming or photography or other recording equipment into THE YSWRR without the express prior written approval of Miral Experiences LLC THE YSWRR Public Relations Department;
• We are not responsible for the loss or damage to personal property. All personal property is brought into THE YSWRR at the owner’s sole risk. THE YSWRR is not responsible for lost, missing, or stolen personal property;
• Visitors with allergies should be aware that shellfish and fish dissections take place in the Wet and Dry Lab Classrooms at THE YSWRR. Please speak to your THE YSWRR representative for more information on allergens at THE YSWRR;
• You accept that you have a duty to take all reasonable steps to ensure your own safety, taking into account any medical conditions you may have. Entry into THE YSWRR is at your sole risk and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for loss, injury, or damage sustained in THE YSWRR;
• We reserve the right to deny admission to THE YSWRR or ban entry to THE YSWRR (whether temporarily or permanently) for any reason. We reserve the right to remove guests from THE YSWRR if they fail to comply with these terms and conditions or any applicable rules, regulations, or instructions, without any right of a refund or compensation (if applicable). This is without prejudice to any claim we might have against you or arising from your actions;
• Smoking is strictly prohibited in THE YSWRR and only permitted in the outdoor designated smoking areas.

Processing personal data for registration for the Rescue Night event at Yas SeaWorld Research and Rescue Abu Dhabi (‘YSWRR’) and photography at the event

• We collect your full name and email address for the purpose of registering you and your group for your chosen Rescue Night event on the 27th February ’25.
• Your personal details will not be used for marketing or promotional activity and will not be shared with other third parties.
• All personal information collected above will be stored securely on our systems only for a limited time and then deleted per our regulatory obligations.
• We, or third parties authorized by us, may film, sound record or photograph the event. Entry into YSWRR affirms your consent to the filming, sound recording and/or photography and possible subsequent use/exploitation/ broadcasts/ publication by us for marketing or promotional purposes. We will be the sole and exclusive owner, throughout the universe in perpetuity, of all rights in all and any results and proceeds in such materials, as the same may exist from time to time, in whatever medium, or stage of completion You may object to the use of your personal data in connection with any filming, sound recording and/or photography by contacting us at privacy-me@miral.ae or informing one of our staff available at the event.
